ABOUT US

Located in the heart of the Village of Slinger's Downtown the Museum was opened on June 28th, 2020.  The museum’s over 3,000-square-foot permanent exhibits will take visitors on a journey down memory lane through 177 years of history, from the origin in 1845 when Baruch Schleisinger Weil founded the village to the present day. At the Museum, we continually seek to inspire people to discover and appreciate the rich history of Slinger through exhibition, education, and collections. Our partnerships with local community groups, schools, and church's help us create programs that serve all ages to promote learning and instill a passion for history.  SSHM is a self funded 501C3 non profit and is run with 100% volunteer help.

We hope to serve the community for many years to come.
